Neste sábado (31/08), um incêndio de grandes proporções foi controlado após cerca de 5 horas de combate na região próxima ao Aeroporto de Goiânia.
As chamas atingiram ambos os lados da BR-153, entre o Ceasa e a Halexistar, causando risco aos motoristas, devido à densa fumaça que reduziu a visibilidade na rodovia e no aeroporto, além de danificar a rede elétrica e de internet.
Cerca de 20 bombeiros, junto com brigadistas locais, atuaram na operação que se encerrou às 22h, quando o incêndio foi totalmente contido.
Ao Mobilidade Goiânia, a CCR Aeroportos, concessionária responsável pelo aeroporto, informou que não houve impactos operacionais (sem atrasos e sem cancelamentos de voos).
